One of the fastest disabled athletes in the world, Blake Leeper, was barred from competing in this year’s Tokyo Olympics due to a ruling that claimed his prosthetic blades gave him an unfair advantage. To keep Blake moving forward, we created a social campaign around his story and surprised him with the real people who matter most to him.
Then we created exclusive social content to give our audience a chance to connect with this athlete even more. We invited them to participate in a live AMA with Blake, and we created a video chat series called “Real Talk,” in which Blake and CeCe Telfer, the first openly transgender woman to win an NCAA title, discussed the importance of an athlete’s support network and the future of equality in sports.
