I’m a VP, Creative Director at RPA, where I lead the social business on Honda, Portal from Meta and new business. My approach to navigating clients in a world plugged into social is to create real human connection, drive culture and tap into trends, while boosting relevance for clients and helping spark conversation across platforms.
Before RPA, I spent time at numerous agencies such as McCann, GS&P, Y&R, Davis Elen and 160over90. Over the years, I’ve been blessed enough to work alongside a lot of super smart people and help build brands for clients such as McDonald’s, Microsoft, LEGO, HP, Land Rover, Hilton, BET, ABC and ESPN.
My work has been recognized by the Clios, Shortys, Webbys, ADDYs, CommArts, AICP, AdWeek, Creativity, The FWA, Digiday, The Drum, Forbes, MediaPost and Fast Company. I was a panelist for Advertising Week in New York where I spoke about driving inspiration with Pinterest. At the 3% Conference, l spoke about the challenges and opportunities of navigating AAPI identity inside and out of the ad industry. I was an Adweek Creative 100 honoree for 2021, judge for the Webbys, as well as the New York Festivals Advertising Awards, and a contributor on Muse by Clio, Little Black Book and AdAge.
When I’m not working, I teach a portfolio class for The Book Shop School of Ads, helping the next generation of creatives navigate through the rapidly changing landscape of art and technology. When I’m not “not” working, I love taking photos for my own personal enjoyment and sometimes for actual paying clients. And when I’m really not working, I’m catering to my Duolingo obsession, and spending time with my beautiful wife, daughter and 30lb Jindo mix.
