After much anticipation, the next-generation Civic had finally taken shape and was ready to be revealed to the world. To reach younger, first-time buyers, Honda partnered with Twitch and Epic Games to give people their first look at the all-new Civic during a special Honda Head2Head game of Fortnite. In between matches, our reveal video brought the Civic vibes in a high-energy, gaming-inspired reveal video that our young audience couldn’t take its eyes off of.
To announce the stream and get people excited about the Civic, a teaser video was released on all Honda social channels. The inspiration was drawn from both the gaming and EDM worlds and set in a multicolored, neon-lit warehouse where, at first, people could only catch small glimpses of the Civic in floating shards of glass.
Once the Twitch stream went live, we premiered the full-length film and let everyone feast their eyes on the all-new Civic for the very first time.
